Product Description
Coral calcium is derived from fossilized coral beds that were once submerged in mineral-rich seawater thousands of years ago. Over time water levels receded, exposing the fossilized coral. Natural coral deposits retain the 74-mineral complex from its exposure to seawater. This multi-mineral complex is similar to the mineral composition of the human body, making it a suitable supplement for the body’s needs.

Coral Cal-Mag K2 is formulated to support strong bone structure. Calcium is the most plentiful mineral in the body and is primarily stored in the skeletal system to maintain healthy bones and teeth. And Magnesium helps with calcium absorption. Vitamin C plays an important role in bone health as well, as it is needed for the formation of collagen, the protein structure that is the foundation of bone mineralization, and promotes growth and repair of bones and connective tissues. Vitamin K may help reduce bone fractures. The protein osteocalcin helps to guard against bone fractures, but before bone tissue can absorb osteocalcin, it must undergo a process called carboxylation, in which vitamin K plays a key role.*

Coral Cal-Mag K2 isn’t just good for bone health. Calcium is needed for cell division and DNA replication. Both calcium and magnesium help to regulate muscle contractions, which encourages regular heartbeat. Magnesium helps prevent the calcification of organs in the body by promoting the solubility of calcium so it doesn’t build up on organ and blood vessel tissue.*

Coral minerals also help to lower body acidity. A diet high in refined carbohydrates, red meat or carbonated beverages increases body acidity (lower on the pH scale).
