Update Regarding Retyne Mask Usage
Updated guidance concerning the Retyne Mask. In most clinical applications, users are
advised against utilizing the HIGH intensity setting on the controller. The majority of
successful treatment outcomes—particularly for conditions such as macular
degeneration—were achieved using the LOW setting over extended treatment periods
spanning several months. Sessions lasting 15 to 30 minutes were deemed sufficient
for therapeutic efficacy.
While each Retyne Mask package includes printed instructions detailing
both Low and High Intensity modes, Retyne Labs has issued a consensus
recommendation: For the majority of ocular treatments, LOW mode should be
exclusively employed.

Rationale:
Extended therapy sessions at lower intensity demonstrated significantly superior
long-term results compared to any treatments administered in HIGH mode. This
conclusion is supported by observed clinical outcomes, reinforcing the preference for
sustained, low-intensity application.
